MARSEILLES — Valerie Boyer, French deputy of the Unification for the people’s movement party, author of the draft of criminalization of the denial of the Armenian Genocide, visited memorial of Armenian Genocide victims in Marcel and put garlands on January 6th.
On the same day French the deputy participated in the festival devoted to the Christmas in the Armenian local church. The deputy informed about this through her Facebook page and also posted photos there.
Many Armenian users “Liked” and “shared” this post, they also thanked the French deputy for her pro-Armenian activities.
On December 22nd, the French National Assembly accepted the bill of criminalization of the Armenian Genocide denial. Now the bill will be discussed in the French Senate and will be presented to the French president for approval.
