Albert and Terry Bezjians Donate $1 Million to Merdinian School

SHERMAN OAKS – The Board of Directors is happy to announce that Mr. Albert and Mrs. Terry Bezjian of Los Angeles, founders of Indo-European foods in Glendale, generously donated one million dollars to the Charlotte & Ekise Merdinian Armenian Evangelical School of Sherman Oaks, California.

These funds are designated for the addition of a second floor over the school’s administration building. This project will provide the school with additional room and flexibility to better meet its ongoing needs.

The building presently houses, the administrative offices, the newly renovated PC Lab, and several classrooms. Upon completion of construction, it shall be named the Bezjian Building.

The Board of Directors and Administration of the school is extremely grateful to Mr. and Mrs. Bezjian for this most generous gift. A donation of this magnitude is a testimony to the benefactors’ confidence in the bright future of the school.

The WASC accredited school opened in 1982 in Sherman Oaks. It is a pre-school to 8th grade.
